Introduction to Shyamal Music Foundation.

Shyamal Music Foundation is a voluntary non- profit 80-G certificate authorized trust Organization registered with the Charity Commissioner of Mumbai under the Charitable Institution Act 1950.The objective of the trust is to
A. Promote the performing art of Indian Classical Music throughout India and abroad.
B.Provide a platform to young and upcoming artists to showcase their talents.
C.Provide financial assistance to poor cancer patients. 
The Trust is headed by Aditya Kalyanpur, a foremost disciple of Tabla Maestros late Ustad  Allarakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain, and himself one of the most promising Tabla players of this generation (www.adityatabla.com). Mr. Kalyanpur founded the Trust in late 2007, in memory of his beloved mother who lost her life battling cancer and herself felt strongly about encouraging budding talents, as well alleviating the pain and suffering of those ailing.

The main objective of the trust is to provide a platform to the next Generation of Legendary artists and upcoming artists to showcase their talents & to offer financial assistance to cancer patients through the hosting of DISHA!
